The Exterior
Outside Villa York enjoy a dip in the pool, top up your tan in the sunshine, relax in the outdoor lounge area and cook up a storm on the BBQ. The villa grounds are a gated driveway suitable for several cars.
The living areas
In Villa York the accommodation comprises: entrance hall, living room with dining area, gas fireplace, cable TV and DVD. The living room has direct access to the outdoor area with lounge furniture for enjoying the view to the garden the swimming pool and the golf course. Fully fitted and equipped modern kitchen and laundry with new washing machine and tumble dryer.
The bedrooms
There are two master bedrooms and two twin bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and an additional guest bathroom. All the bathrooms have under floor heating and the villa is fully air-conditioned throughout. All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated.
About the area
Vila Sol is a luxury residential golf development ideally located: only 3 km from the marina and the sandy beach of Vilamoura. It is also only 10 minutes driving from Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. In addition, it is a short drive to main shopping areas near Almancil and Loulé like Mar Shopping Centre and The Designer Outlet Algarve, and also to high end restaurants in Almancil area. The Resort is located 25 minute from Faro Airport.
For Golf lovers, in addition to Vila Sol´s own 27 hole golf course, you can find several other golf courses within a 10 minute drive in: Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo or Quinta do Lago.

Vilamoura golf has become world famous, and if you like golf, you will be pleased to know that there are several championship golf courses. Anyone who simply likes to go to the beach to relax, Vilamoura has two beautiful beaches, Praia da Marina ’Vilamoura Beach', to the east of the marina and Praia da Falésia to the west. If you enjoy a walk, Praia da Falésia runs all the way for 6km to Olhos d' Àgua or stroll along Praia da Marina into Quarteira.
Quarteira, which has long been a fisherman village, is just a short drive away. Head to the fish market and sample some authentic Portuguese seafood dishes or go to the local market for fresh fruit and vegetables.
Close by you have the Aquashow water park with its water runs and many pools for a day of fun!
Close by is Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago a short 15 minute drive away, with its golf courses, fabulous restaurants that range from fairly simple to Michelin starred and for the shopaholics, there is exclusive shopping at Quinta Shopping and Vale do Lobo Parque do Golf.
Almancil, only 12 minutes drive away, is a busy town with several banks, shops, supermarkets and also offers a good selection of quality restaurants. Since properties in the nearby resorts are among the most expensive in the country there are several estate agents on the main street!
The Stadium of Algarve, built to host some of the games for the European Football Championships of 2004, is also close by. Karting Almancil is close and another fun destination!
For the shopaholic, Mar Shopping Centre with its and Design Algarve Outlet are close drive north of Almancil.
Loulé is an authentic Portuguese market town, and a popular destination for a day trip.
Visitors are drawn to Loulé , for its characterful historic centre, lively markets and genuine Portuguese atmosphere.
The focal point of Loulé is the Arabian inspired covered market, with stalls selling fresh produce and regional handicrafts. Within this delightful historic centre (the Cidade Velha), is an ancient castle, a Gothic church and traditional tradesmen’s houses.
In the south of Portugal the sea coast is an attraction on its own, with gorgeous beaches, water sports and nature reserves dotted along the Algarve. Relax on the beach or enjoy the numerous watersports that are on offer here, indulge in sophisticated restaurants, or enjoy the night life, it's up to you!
